A fixture on Long Island's folk and acoustic scene since the mid-1990s, Stuart Markus has been performing professionally for over 24 years. Stuart is perhaps best known outside of Long Island as a member of the folk-rock/Americana harmony trio Gathering Time. His musical programs vary from traditional folk music, to Classic 60's and 70's to Big Band & Crooners.
Making Memories with Music events will allow participants with opportunities to sing, clap and laugh along with our specially trained musicians. This stroll down Memory Lane will engage everyone in attendance. The music will be accompanied by brief introductions that will put the songs into historical context.
